The Scotland County girls and LaPlata boys teams advance to Saturday's championship games.

The Brashear and LaPlata boys' game looked to be a competitive matchup in the early going as both teams scored 9 points to leave the game tied after one quarter. The second quarter was a different story as LaPlata sank 4 three pointers and opened a 31-18 halftime lead. Brashear was unable to get on track after halftime and trailed 43-26 after 3 quarters with LaPlata picking up the win by a final score of 60-32. Cody Snelling had 10 points for Brashear, Matt Thomas added 7, Anthony Ambrosia had 5, Zach Reeves and Jay Scudder had 4 points each and Adam Songer scored 2 points. For LaPlata, Taylor Wheeler scored 25 points, Weston Smith had 10, Birdie Buck added 7, and Dalton Smith, Hayden Fouch, and Dustin Groseclose scored 6 points each.

In the girls' championship semi-final game, Scotland County downed LaPlata 46-34. In the consolation semi-finals, the Green City girls defeated Grundy County 49-34 and the Novinger boys beat Grundy County 50-44.
