The Lady Tigers pick up a Tri-County Conference win on Homecoming Night.

The Brashear Lady Tigers took a 15-11 lead after one quarter and led 31-21 going into halftime. Brashear extended their lead to 42-29 after 3 quarters and got a homecoming victory by a score of 50-35. Shelby Salter scored 14 points for Brashear, Abby McKim added 9, Stephanie Elsea and Megan Taylor had 8 each, Katie Smith had 6, Chandi March had 3, and Sydney Slavin scored 2 points. For Novinger, Chloe Hubbard scored 8 points, Kelsey Potter, Samantha Daniels, and Ariel Rader had 6 each, Becca White had 5, and Renatta Blackorby scored 4 points.

In the boy's game, Brashear's cold 18 for 90 shooting doomed their homecoming night effort. Novinger held a slim 12-10 lead after the 1st quarter, but Brashear managed to pull ahead 24-22 at the half. Novinger outscored Brashear 19-9 during the 3rd quarter to take a 41-33 lead. Brashear was unable to make up the difference in the 4th and Novinger held on for the 62-50 win. For Brashear, Matt Thomas and Anthony Ambrosia were in double figures with 19 and 16 points, Taren Treasure added 8, Nick Thomas had 5, and Zach Reeves scored 2 points. Novinger also had 2 players in double figures as Trevor Stocks and Chris Smith scored 16, and 13 points. Johnathan Novinger and Austin Martin had 9 points each, Ben Morelock scored 8, Chazz White had 5, and Matthew Matheney scored 2 points.
