The Lady Tigers pick up a conference win, but the baseball game is postponed until Monday due to rain.

In the Brashear vs. LaPlata softball game Friday, Brashear got on the scoreboard in the top of the first when Meredith Thomas drew a leadoff walk, and Cierra Hines drove her in. LaPlata's Emily Heissler tied the game in the bottom of the 4th as she turned a leadoff single into a run. The game remained tied through the end of regulation. With 2 outs in the top of the 8th, Brashear's Meredith Thomas got aboard with a single, then stole her way to 2nd. Shelby Salter drove her in with a line-drive to center and Brashear held on for the 2-1 win. Shelby Salter had 2 hits for Brashear, with Meredith Thomas, Cierra Hines, Sydney Slavin and Ashley Watson also having hits. Jeanna Bane, Emily Heissler, and Taylor Snodgrass had hits for LaPlata. Cierra Hines went the distance for Brashear picking up the win scattering 3 hits and striking out 12. Makay Belt took the loss for LaPlata striking out 6.

The boys' game never got started due to heavy rains that came in right after the softball game. It has been rescheduled for 4pm Monday at LaPlata.
