At the final night of the 82nd Annual Brashear Tournament, the North Shelby girls and Brashear boys take 3rd, and the Marion County girls and boys both take 1st.

In the girls' 3rd place game, North Shelby jumped out to an 18-9 first quarter lead and were up 25-17 at the half. Although both teams had put in strong defensive efforts in the 1st half, both offenses were really throttled in the 3rd quarter as Brashear was held scoreless and North Shelby scored only 2 free-throw points to extend their lead to 27-17. Brashear finally started to close the gap in the 4th quarter and tied the game 31-31 with 2 minutes left. North Shelby quickly answered with a bucket and 4 free throws to extend their lead back to 6 and held on to take 3rd place with a 40-32 win. Shelby Salter led Brashear scoring with 14 points, including 8 in the 4th quarter, Meredith Thomas added 7, Stephanie Elsea had 6 Sydney Slavin had 4, and Olivia Thompson scored 1 point. For North Shelby, Rachel Echternacht scored 13 points, Ashton Reitz and Elizabeth Linberger had 8 each, Brianna Cochenour had 5, Leah Gaines had 4, and Mercedes Nute scored 2 points.

The 3rd place boys' game between Brashear and North Shelby was knotted at 11 after the first quarter before Brashear surged ahead 26-17 at halftime. Brashear maintained a 39-32 lead after 3 quarters and held on to take 3rd place with a 56-48 win. Nick Thomas scored 14 points for Brashear, Cody Snelling added 13, Hayden Housman had 11, Adam Songer and Jay Scudder scored 6 each, Taren Treasure had 4, and Zach Reeves scored 2 points. For North Shelby, John Stoneburner scored 16 points, Kendle Smith added 10, Michael Orr had 9, Lucas Daniel had 6, Alex Thrasher had 5, and Dalton Mettes scored 2 points.

In the girls' championship game, Knox County took on state-ranked and undefeated Marion County. Although Marion County took the early lead of 19-10 after the 1st quarter, Knox County stayed in the game and closed the gap to 24-18 at halftime. The game continued to be hotly contested after the half with Knox County trailing by only7, 39-32 after three quarters. Marion County finally got some breathing room in the 4th quarter, pulling away for a 58-37 win to take 1st place. Marion County's Jessica Redd led all scorers with 23 points, Devan Johnson added 15, Randi Lee Plunkett had 9, Kaelyn Spratt had 6, and Rachelle Sharpe scored 5 points. For Knox County, Kathleen Hinkle scored 15 points, Hannah Dale had 6, Stacey Leckbee had 5 points, Hannah Strange and Devin Gudehus had 4 each, and Kelsey Cahalan scored 3 points.

The boys' title game saw the Marion County boys jump out to a 15-4 lead after one quarter only to have Novinger come storming back to take a 27-21 lead at halftime. Novinger extended their lead to 39-29 after 3 quarters only to see Marion County claw their way back in the 4th quarter. Trailing 48-45 with the last ticks of the clock draining away, Marion County's Reed Plunkett nailed a 3-pointer to send the game into overtime. Both teams managed to score only a single free-throw each in the first overtime leaving the score knotted at 49. During the 2nd overtime, Marion County outscored Novinger 10-2 to capture 1st place by a score of 59-51. For Marion County, Dustin Bock scored 13 points, JJ Chatfield had 12, Kason Spratt and Clay Pollard scored 10 each, Reed Plunkett added 9, Dalton Bainter had 3, and Luke Stratton scored 2 points. Seth Walters led Novinger with 15 points, Ben Morelock had 13, Trevor Stocks had 11, Jonathan Novinger had 6, Matthew Matheney had 4, and Chazz White scored 2 points.
