The visiting Bulldogs sweep a pair of JH basketball games.

The Brashear Lady Tigers and the Bucklin Lady Bulldogs struggled to score in the 1st quarter with Bucklin holding a slim 8-6 lead, but Bucklin caught fire during the 2nd quarter and took a 23-25 lead into halftime. Brashear rallied in the 2nd half pulling to within 30-24 in the 4th quarter but the rally stalled and Bucklin won 37-24. Abby Kerby and Mandy Taylor scored 6 points each for Brashear, Skylar Housman and Allison Thompson had 4 each, and Sidney Sykes and Abby Hall scored 2 points each. For Bucklin, Savannah Jochem scored 11 points, Rachel Akins had 10, Jacy Pate, Cheyenne Peterson, and Jody Brock had 4 each, and Alexis Duty and Erica Salmon scored 2 points each.

In the boys' game, Bucklin took a 1st quarter lead of 9-4 and led 19-8 at halftime. Bucklin continued to pull away in the 2nd half and picked up the win by a score of 56-29. Colt Acton and Gabe Thomas scored 7 points each for Brashear, Chance Hill added 6, Brody Henrichs had 3, and Marshall Goff, Tristan Borron and Jacob Reeves scored 2 points each. Bucklin was led by Cyrus Hanson with 21 points, Dakota Peterson had 15, River Wright added 9, Dane Robertson had 6, Jarrod Poor had 3, and Jerry Anders scored 2 points.
