Bevier Baseball at Brashear April 26, 2012

The Bevier Wildcats used a 5-run third and a 8-run fourth to down Brashear 17-2 Thursday. Bevier got on the board in the 1st as Pipes walked and Basler singled him in. Brashear evened the score at 1-1 in the bottom of the 1st on a Hayden Housman homerun. Brashear's other run came in the 3rd as Housman doubled and Cierra Hines drove him in. Meanwhile, Bevier went quietly in the 2nd with 3 strikeouts before their bats heated up in the 3rd and 4th. Hayden Housman had Brashear's only hits with a homerun and a double. Bevier had 12 hits on the night. Nick Bradshaw got the start and pitched 2 innings with Luke Morrow and Chance Hill pitching in relief. Pipes went the distance for Bevier, striking out 9.
