The Brashear Tigers visited LaPlata Friday night for a conference baseball and softball double-header. In the softball game, LaPlata lead 1-0 after the 1st inning, but Brashear capitalized on LaPlata errors to post 5 runs in the top of the 2nd. LaPlata answered with a run in the bottom of the 2nd and trailed 7-2 at that point. LaPlata's big inning came in the 4th as they scored 4 runs to pull within 7-6, but Brashear held LaPlata scoreless after the 4th to claim an 8-6 conference win. Shelby Salter went 3-4 for Brashear, Mandy Taylor and Alli Garrett were 2-4, withh Meredith Thomas also having a hit. Snodgrass, Belt, Janes, and Kimmel all had hits for LaPlata.

In the baseball game, Brashear was undone by a 5-run LaPlata 2nd inning. Brashear's run came in the 4th as Hayden Housman was hit by a pitch and Nick Bradshaw drove him in to make the score 5-1. LaPlata scored 4 more in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to win by a final score of 11-1. Hayden Housman and Nick Bradshaw had hits for Brashear and Riggins, Belt, Safely, Bolden, J. Brown, Peterson, Payne, and S. Brown had hits for LaPlata.
