The Novinger Lady Wildcats and the Brashear Lady Tigers played Thursday night in the consolation semi-final game of the Brashear Tournament. Novinger held a slim 14-13 lead after one quarter, but Brashear led 25-22 at halftime. Brashear outscored Novinger 17-8 in the 3rd quarter, then held off a 4th quarter Novinger comeback to hang on for a 47-41 win. Miranda Creason scored 17 points for Brashear, Meredith Thomas had 15, Olivia Thompson, Mikkie Woods, and Allison Thompson scored 4 points each, Mandy Taylor had 2, and Shelby Salter scored 1 point. For Novinger, Emily Reardon scored 24 points, Maria Gunnels added 13, Jentry Rogers had 3, and Megan Blackorby scored 1 point.
