Brashear Baseball at Milan April 16, 2013

Brashear and Milan managed to get a game played Tuesday night despite uncooperative spring weather. Milan took the lead in the bottom of the 1st inning as Frazier singled, White walked, and Elliot hit a three run homer. Brashear's Nick Bradshaw answered with a solo homerun for Brashear to lead off the top of the 2nd inning to pull Brashear within 3-1. Milan scored again in the bottom of the 2nd to lead 4-1. Brashear managed 2 more runs in the 3rd as Curtis Blakely walked, Gabe Thomas hit into a fielders choice, and Hayden Housman brought Thomas home with a triple. Housman later scored on a failed pickoff attempt and Brashear was within one run at 4-3. Despite have several more base runners, Brashear could score no more and Milan went on to win 7-3. Nick Bradshaw went 2 for 3 for Brashear with Hayden Housman and Gabe Thomas also having hits. Richardson, Frazier, Elliot, Doak, and Keuhn had hits for Milan. Hayden Housman started for Brashear and took the loss with Nick Bradshaw pitching in relief. Keuhn picked up the win for Milan.
