The Brashear Lady Tigers softball team finished their regular season on the road at Unionville Monday. Brashear took the early lead with 3 runs in the top of the 1st and another in the 3rd. Putnam County was held scoreless until the bottom of the 3rd when they scored 4 times to tie the game. Brashear retook the lead with a run in the top of the 4th, but Putnam County scored 4 times in the 5th and once in the 6th to claim a 9-5 win. Meredith Thomas and Mandy Taylor had 2 hits each for Brashear with Ashley Moncrief and Nikki Woods also having hits. Kaisee Perkins, Kennedy Childers, Brooke Robinson, Jacey Valentine, and Sara Webb had hits for Putnam County. Alexa Acton pitched for Brashear and Jade Varner pitched for Putnam County.
