The Brashear JH basketball teams were on the road Tuesday at Bevier. The Brashear girls jumped out to a 14- 2 lead after one quarter and never looked back as they picked up a road win by a score of 40-27. Caitlee Hall scored 14 points for Brashear, Robbyn Wagster had 12, Hannah Reeves added 5, Sayde Potter had 3, and Harli Mihalevich, Kacie Mihalovich, and Hailey Lawrence scored 2 points each. For Bevier, S. Coke scored 8 points, M. Bradley had 6, S. Foster had 5, A. Miller had 4, and E. Ford and S. Lowe scored 2 points each.

It was Bevier who had the hot hand early in the boys' game running up a 32-1 lead at halftime on their way to a 47-9 win. Ty Gottman scored 3 points for Brashear with Wyatt Potter, Colton Sayre, and Zane Sykes scoring 2 points each. For Bevier, C. Shaver scored 8 points, L. Allen and L. Lenzini had 6 each, R. Dawson had 5, D. Hernandez, J. Mason, L. Walker, and N. Williams had 4 each, B. Jones had 3, F. Foster had 2, and M. Lauer scored 1 point.
