The Brashear JH Tigers and Lady Tigers were in Atlanta Wednesday night for 2nd round play in the Atlanta Tournament. The girls opponent was Bevier. Brashear jumped out to a 9-3 first quarter lead and were up 18-11 at the half. Brashear's lead was 28-15 after three quarters as they picked up the win by a score of 39-25. Caitlee Hall scored 11 points for Brashear, Kacie Mihalovich, Robbyn Wagster, and Saydie Potter had 6 each, Hannah Reeves had 3, Harli Mihalevich, Hailey Lawrence, and Mechalia Potter had 2 each, and Melissa Wagster scored 1 point. For Bevier, Mary Bradley scored 8 points, Savana Coke had 6, Scout Foster added 5, Savannah Lowe had 4, and Anna Miller scored 2 points.

The Brashear boys faced the Green City A squad for their game. Green City scored 32 points in the 1st half while limiting Brashear to 4 points. The 2nd half was no better for Brashear as they were held scoreless as Green City cruised to a 47-4 win. Ty Gottman and Zane Sykes scored 2 points each for Brashear. For Green City, Jett Featherson scored 14 points, Ryan Peavler and Tyler Tipton had 8 each, Nathan Chase had 6, Camden Williams had 5, Thomas Watt had 4, and Devin Fields scored 2 points.
