The Brashear and Novinger girls squared off Thursday night in a consolation semi-final game. Novinger held a slim 10-9 lead after one quarter, but exploded for 19 points in the 2nd quarter to take a 29-14 halftime lead. Novinger came out strong again in the 2nd half and pulled away for a 46-26 win. Mandy Taylor scored 6 points for Brashear, Abi Kerby had 5, Allison Thompson and Meredith Thomas had 4 each, Kylie Williams had 3, Abby Hall had 2, and Ashley Moncrief and Hailey Lawrence scored 1 point each. For Novinger, Emily Reardon scored 13 points, Jentry Rogers added 12, Maria Gunnels had 10, Holly Findling and Makala Findling had 4 each, Janelle Dorris had 2, and Megan Blackorby scored 1 point.
