The Brashear girls played LaPlata Friday night at the Novinger Tournament. Both teams pressured on defense and Brashear stuggled to put points on the board as LaPlata built a 19-7 halftime lead. The second half was no kinder to the Lady Tigers as LaPlata pulled away for a 45-15 win. Abby Hall scored 4 points for Brashear, Meredith Thomas added 3, and Abi Kerby, Allison Thompson, Mandy Taylor, and Hailey Lawrence scored 2 points each. For LaPlata, Kelsi Hemmerling scored 16 points, Kalie Lene had 13, Hannah Larson had 6, Ally Gregory and Morgan Kimmel had 4 each, and Jessica Davison scored 2 points.
