Brashear Boys vs Novinger at Brashear Tournament February 10, 2014
The Brashear boys faced Novinger in first round play at the Brashear Tournament Monday night. Novinger jumped out to a quick 25-6 lead after one quarter and were up 48-12 at halftime. Brashear fared no better in the second half, eventually falling 88-24 to the Wildcats. Chance Hill and Jacob Reeves each scored 7 points for Brashear, Patrick Jochimsen and Jacob Bleything had 3 each, and Gabe Thomas and Tyler Watson scored 2 points each. For Novinger, Collin Roberts scored 18 points, Blake Smith added 16, Keaton Tade had 15, Mikey Ortega and Hadley Roberts had 9 each, Trent Rodman had 8, Justin Klingsmith had 5, Trae Brownell and Ethan Parrish had 3 each, and Austin Daniels scored 2 points.
