The Brashear girls and Atlanta girls met in a consolation semi-final game Wednesday in the Brashear Tournament. Brashear took the early lead of 13-10 after one quarter and 24-20 at halftime. Atlanta closed the deficit to 28-27 after 3 quarters and eventually took the lead in the 4th quarter and held on for a 48-41 win. Mandy Taylor led Brashear scoring with 13 points, Allison Thompson added 7, Abi Kerby had 6, Meredith Thomas had 5, Skylar Housman had 4, Ashley Moncrief had 3, and Abby Hall scored 2 points. For Atlanta, Samantha Reed scored 15 points, Sheyenne Klamert had 14, Ashton Ross and Shalyla Collier had 6 each, Maddy Cuppy had 5, and Katy Baker scored 2 points.
