The Brashear and Kirksville JV girls met in the 7th place game at the Brashear Tournament Friday night. Brashear took a 7-4 lead after one quarter and were up 21-14 at halftime. Brashear extended their lead to 32-23 after 3 quarters and won by a final score of 42-32. Meredith Thomas scored 21 points for Brashear, Mandy Taylor had 7, Abi Kerby had 5, Ashley Moncrief had 4, Allison Thompson and Abby Hall had 2 each, and Sidney Sykes scored 1 point. For Kirksville JV, Alex Arabas scored 11 points, Mikenzie Beckley had 8, Haleigh Simler had 7, and Alexa Ball, Alaina Broach, and Hayden DeLeeuw scored 2 points each.
