Bevier at Brashear September 26, 2014

Brashear hosted Bevier Friday night for a softball/baseball double-header. It looked like it would be a high scoring softball game as Bevier scored 4 runs in the top of the 1st and Brashear answered with 5. That would be all of Bevier's scoring except for a single run in the 5th. Meanwhile, Brashear scored 1 in the 2nd, 4 in the third, and 5 in the 4th to cruise to a 15-5 win. Harli Mihalevich and Sidney Sykes each had 2 hits for Brashear with Erin Bradshaw, Hannah Reeves, Skylar Housman, and Alli Garrett also having hits. Sidney Sykes picked up the win with Caitlee Hall pitching in relief.

Bevier took the lead early with 3 runs in the 1st and 4 in the 2nd. Brashear finally got on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the 3rd and another 2 runs in the 6th as Bevier took the game by a final score of 12-4. Dalton Hocker homered for Brashear with Jacob Bleything and Gabe Thomas also having hits. Chance Hill got the start for Brashear with Gabe Thomas and Colt Acton pitching in relief.
