The Lady Tiger softball team headed to Lancaster Saturday for the Schuyler County Tournament. Brashear faced Knox County in pool play for their 1st game of the day. Knox County struck first with 3 runs in the first and never looked back as the blanked Brashear 14-0.

Next up for Brashear was Milan in the 2nd pool game. Brashear got the bats going and scored 2 runs in the first and 1 in the 2nd, but Milan put the game away early with 7 runs in the 1st on their way to a 19-3 win. Alli Garrett had 2 hits for Brashear with Abi Kerby, Mandy Taylor, and Hannah Reeves also having hits.

In the final game of the day, the Tigers faced Novinger in the consolation game. Brashear wasted no time bringing in 5 runs in the 1st to take a 5-1 lead. Novinger's big inning came in the 3rd as they scored 5 to close the gap to 7-6, but Brashear kept the bats going and pulled away for a 12-6 win. Sidney Sykes led the Brashear offense with a triple and 2 doubles, with Abi Kerby and Alli Garrett also having hits.
