Brashear visited Memphis Monday for a pair of non-conference softball games. Brashear's Skylar Housman bunted the first pitch of the game to reach 1st safely, then Abi Kerby moved her to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt. After a groundout for out 2, Alli Garrett singled to right field, but Housman was thrown out at the plate. Although Brashear's defense held Scotland County to only 4 runs through the 1st 3 innings, they were unable to get anything going offensively. Scotland County blew the game open in the 4th and went on to win 14-0. Skylar Housman and Alli Garrett had hits for Brashear. Brashear won the JV game by a score of 3-2.
