Brashear headed to Green City Friday for Junior High basketball. In the girls game, Green City jumped out to a 31-4 halftime lead and outscored Brashear 11-4 in the second half to win by a score of 42-8. Avery Acton and Emily Mason scored 3 points each for Brashear and Melissa Wagster scored 2 points.

The Brashear B girls took an 8-6 lead after one quarter and scored 13 points in the 2nd quarter to claim a 21-10 win. Emily Mason scored 10 points for Brashear, Melissa Wagster added 4, Avery Acton had 3, and Kiersten Hart and Alexa Higgins scored 2 points each.

The Brashear boys only managed 3 first half points putting them in a 31-3 hole at halftime. The Tigers scored 6 more points in the 2nd half as they fell to Green City 54-9. Colton Sayre scored 4 points for Brashear, Quinn Allen and Fisher Reese had 2 points each, and Ty Gottman scored 1 point.

The Brashear B boys took a 6-4 lead after one quarter, but Green City came back strong in the 2nd quarter to defeat the Tigers 13-12. Wyatt Potter scored 6 points for Brashear and Colton Sayre, Levi Blankenship, and Triston Morrinson scored 2 points each.
