The Brashear JH basketball teams were on the road at Meadville Monday. The girls took an early 9-2 first quarter lead which they expanded to a 19-2 lead at halftime. Both teams struggled with their shooting in the 2nd half as Brashear claimed the victory by a score of 23-5. Hannah Reeves scored 7 points for Brashear, Averi Acton had 6, Kierston Hart added 4, and Harli Mihalevich, Emily Mason, and Alexa Higgins scored 2 points each.

The Brashear boys got off to a slow start and trailed 13-0 after one quarter and 27-2 at halftime. The Tigers put 4 points on the board in the 3rd and another 2 in the 4th as they fell 40-8 to the Eagles. Quin Allen, Fisher Reese, Ty Gottman, and Wyatt Reeves each scored 2 points for Brashear.
