The Brashear Tigers played their Novinger Tournament opening round game Tuesday night against #1 seeded Scotland County. Scotland County applied lots of defensive pressure from the start and took a 23-2 lead after one quarter. Brashear managed to score 10 points in the second quarter, but that left them with a 48-12 deficit at halftime. Scotland County continued to score big in the 2nd half and won by a final margin of 86-29. Chance Hill scored 10 points for Brashear, Colt Acton added 7, Jacob Reeves had 5, Ty Gottman had 4, and Patrick Jochimsen scored 3 points.
