The Brashear Lady Tigers hosted Marion County December 19 in non-conference action. Brashear wasted no time running up a 16-5 lead and were ahead 28-11 at halftime. Brashear continued their dominance in the 2nd half as they rolled to a 49-20 win. Mandy Taylor scored 16 points for Brashear, Abi Kerby added 9, Allison Thompson had 8, Hailey Lawrence scored 5, Abby Hall had 3, and Sidney Sykes, Harli Mihalevich, Saydie Potter, and Hannah Reeves scored 2 points each.

The Brashear boys had a tougher time of it as Marion County scored 21 points in back to back quarters to take a 42-7 lead into halftime. Marion County continued their offensive dominance in the 2nd half as they went on to a 70-18 win. Chance Hill scored 13 points for Brashear, Colt Acton had 3, and Patrick Jochimsen scored 2 points.
