Green City visited Brashear for basketball Tuesday night. The Lady Gophers took a 12-3 lead after one quarter and were up 20-7 at halftime. Both teams generated more offense in the 2nd half with Green City pulling away for a 54-24 win. Hailey Lawrence led Brashear scoring with 8 points, Abi Kerby and Saydie Potter had 4 points each, Sidney Sykes had 3, Abby Hall and Mandy Taylor had 2 each, and Caitlee Hall scored 1 point.

The Tigers kept it close in the early going, but Green City led 20-11 after one quarter and 44-21 at the half. Brashear posted a strong 3rd quarter, but so did Green City as the Gophers went on to win by a score of 75-47. Chance Hill scored 15 for Brashear, Gabe Thomas added 13 points, Jacob Reeves had 8, Colt Acton had 6, and Patrick Jochimsen scored 5 points.
