The Brashear girls hosted Bucklin/Macon County in the final home game of the year Tuesday. Neither team could gain much advantage in the 1st quarter, but BMC managed to pull away to a 28-21 lead at halftime. Brashear's offense came alive in the 2nd half and scored 40 points to edge BMC 61-57 in a real nail-biter. Mandy Taylor scored 17 points for Brashear, Abi Kerby added 13, Abby Hall had 12, Allison Thompson had 10, Skylar Housman had 8, and Sidney Sykes scored 1 point.
