The Brashear Tigers couldn't overcome a 2nd inning 12-run outburst by the Putnam County Midgets Friday night. The Tigers had taken a 2-1 lead in the 1st after Jacob Bleything homered, Zane Sykes doubled, and Sidney Sykes drove him in. Brashear also scored 1 in the 2nd and 2 in the 5th in the 17-5 loss. Colt Acton and Jacob Bleything each had 2 hits for Brashear with Zane Sykes, Tyler Watson, and Sidney Sykes also having hits. Colt Acton took the loss with Jacob Bleything pitching in relief.
