Brashear Varsity Basketball vs Green City January 24, 2017

The Tigers and Lady Tigers were at home Tuesday hosting Green City. 
In the girls game, Brashear opened the game with a 5-0 run, but
Green City answered with a 10-0 run to take a lead they would not
relinquish. Although the Lady Tigers pulled within 1 in the 2nd quarter
they were down 41-30 at halftime. Green City came out with a 
strong 2nd half and Brashear fell by a final score of 75-42.

The Green City boys used a stifling press to go on a 21-0 run before
Colton Sayre got the Tigers on the scoreboard with a pair of free
throws midway through the 2nd quarter. Sayre added a bucket and a
3-pointer along with a Jacob Bleything bucket to pull the Tigers within
26-9 at halftime. The Tigers managed to put a few more points on the
board in the 2nd half, but Green City pulled away for a 53-29 win.
