On April 6, 2005, three Truman State University victimology students plan to present “The Nature of Bullying and How to Prevent It” to fourth through sixth graders in Tiger Pride. The goals of this presentation are to educate students on the subject of bullying, to instruct them on how to deal with a bullying situation, and to illustrate how bullying affects their peers.
Other activities planned for Tiger Pride for April include: TSU International Club to present “International Idol”, Physics Presentation by TSU students, Lawn Mower Safety Program, Bicycle Safety Program, “Sam” the KTVO mascot will visit, Dance, Gymnastics, and French.

games and art supplies including glue and markers.
A Big Thank You to all who contributed time and labor and/or desserts for the Concession Stand fundraiser. We earned $200, which will be used for supplies and consumables. THANKS!
Yearbook sales will begin on April 1 and will continue until May. This is the 57th edition of the BHS yearbook. The number of yearbooks ordered for the year is limited. Plan to order a yearbook early in order to reserve a copy for you and your family.
Yearbooks will be $42 without a name and $45 with a name. Yearbooks with a name must be ordered by April 15. Yearbooks ordered on or after May 1 will be $45. Please make your check payable to Adair County R-II School. Order forms may be returned to the elementary or high school offices.
We would like to thank Charlene Fisher for her donation of the book, Ted Williams, in memory of Debbie Edwards. We would also like to thank Richard Priest and Carolyn Whitmore for their donations of the Smithsonian magazine. These books and magazines are available in the library for viewing.
Books make a lasting tribute to the memory of our loved ones. If there is someone that you would like to memorialize in this way, please contact Denise Brown, Library Media Specialist at 323-5272.

Girls basketball coach Sara Williams has been
named the 2004 Missouri Girls Coach of the Year by the NFHS (National

This award is not a single season achievement
award, but rather rewards coaches for a cumulative career of accomplishments,
on and off the athletic field.
Involvement with other school and community activities and programs and
coaching philosophy are also considered.
Congratulations Coach Williams. We appreciate your commitment to our
students and athletes.
