SPRING ASSESSMENT

Your child will soon be taking the Spring Assessment.  You may assist us in this process by seeing that your child has plenty of sleep, has a good breakfast, and has a good mental attitude preceding test days.  Also, please do not schedule any doctor/dentist/hair appointments during testing hours.  Test results will help us provide a more complete education to all students.

The High School Band received an overall 2 rating at the MSHSAA State Large Group Music Festival at Hannibal-LaGrange University on Friday, March 21.  The judges were honest with us where they needed to be, but were on the whole very complimentary.  We also received a 1 rating from the sightreading judge.  I am very proud of the effort and focus that all the band members put in.  We acted like professionals, showed up and got the job done.  Well done, band!

NEWS FROM THE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The following children’s programs will be offered at the Adair County Public Library in April.

Movie Night at the Library

This is an award winning animated film by a company which has ties to Marceline, MO but will not let us say the name of either the film or the company outside of the library.  However, you can know that it is loosely based on a fairy tale, The Snow Queen, and has just been released on BluRay/DVD.  There is a huge sign inside the library with lights around it.  The viewing will take place on Friday, April 11th at 7:00 p.m.  Library doors will open at 6:45 p.m.
