STATE RELEASES APRs

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recently released the Annual Performance Reports (APR). The reports are used to show how well school districts are meeting Missouri’s education standards under the state’s accountability system, the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) 5. MSIP 5 is used to distinguish the performance of schools and districts in valid, accurate and meaningful ways so that districts in need of improvement can receive appropriate supports and interventions. The APR outlines performance based on five standards for K-12 districts: academic achievement, subgroup achievement (includes students receiving free/reduced price lunch, African American and Hispanic students, English Language Learners, and students with disabilities), College and Career Readiness, attendance rate, and graduation rate. As a whole our district scored 89.9%, receiving 124 out of 138 points possible. Districts must score at least 70% to place them in the fully accredited range. Congratulations to our students, faculty, and staff!

THANK YOU

Trinity Church Women for their donation to serve the needs of our students.
