FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

There have been many exciting events happening this year at BHS!  If you  haven't had the chance, be sure and check out the Elementary Leader In Me page and the district web page!  We have had star students, outstanding marching band performances, and post season recognition for our softball and baseball athletes...all cause for celebration!

One new item being discussed at Brashear and around the state, 4 day school weeks.  It has peaked lots of interest, both positive and not so positive.  Is it right for us?  What are the benefits?  What are the drawbacks?  How does it work?  What time would we have to start the day?  What about the day we are not in session?  There will be Open 4 Day School Week Conversations on November 29 and December 6 from 6:00–7:00 p.m. in the school ibrary.  Bring your questions.  We will be forming action teams to get answers and probably find more questions to ask!  This is a time to discuss our first thoughts and first concerns and from there find a direction that is right for Adair County R-II.

See you soon!
