to the following FBLA members who placed in the top 5 at districts. These
students have qualified to attend the FBLA State Leadership Conference April
14-16 at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield, MO:
Callie Althide, 4th Place in Introduction to Business Procedures; Levi
Blankenship, 1st Place in Economics, 3rd Place in Accounting, 3rd Place in
Agri-Business: Tanna Garlock, 1st Place in Accounting; John Gerhold, 2nd Place
in Agri-Business; Hannah Grissom, 2nd Place in Introduction to Business
Procedures, 2nd Place in Introduction to Financial Math, 4th Place in
Introduction to Information Technology; Kameren McGinnis, 3rd Place in Personal
Finance; Wyatt Potter, 2nd Place in Accounting; Fisher Reese, 3rd Place in
Organizational Leadership; Brieann Stewart, 5th Place in Introduction to
Information Technology; and Aden Zentz, 2nd Place in Economics; 2nd Place in
Personal Finance. Trace Gottman placed high enough with his score to earn a
wild card entry at the state competition.
BLOOD DRIVE
The American Red
Cross and Adair County R-II School will be sponsoring a blood drive on
Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 2:00-6:30 p.m. at the Keller Building.

TIGER PRIDE
Our high school
basketball teams recently completed their winter seasons. The Lady Tigers
finished the season 18–5 overall and 7-1 in conference. The Tigers finished the
season 8–12 overall and 3–5 in conference. Averi Acton, Alexa Higgins, Hannah
Grissom and Garrett Housman were named to the Class 1 District 12 All-District
teams.
Congratulations
to Coach Chris Prewitt on being named Girls Class 1 District 12 Coach of the
Year.
Congratulations
to Averi Acton, Tanna Garlock, Hannah Grissom and Alexa Higgins for being named
to the Academic All-State Softball Team.

we have also moved our High School Graduation ceremony to Sunday, May 19 at
3:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
Breakfast each
day includes fruit, juice and milk. Students may choose cereal instead of the
breakfast item offered. The following items are offered daily for students to
choose from in lieu of the lunch entrée: yogurt or a WOWBUTTER® (peanut butter
replacement) and jelly sandwich.
