TIGERS LEAD
If you’ve visited our school in the past few years, you’ve seen
some fairly big changes in our hallways. We’ve started having themes and
decorating in an attempt to draw in people and make our school inviting and
welcoming. Our staff has a goal of ensuring that our building is always
warm and welcoming.
If you were here for Parent/Teacher Conferences you got a glimpse
of our student Leadership Notebooks. This is where students write and
track their goals. Research has shown
that the simple act of writing a goal greatly increases the chances of
achieving the goal. If the goal is broken down into strategies or action
steps and is tracked regularly, goals have an even better chance of being
met. We try to help students set an
academic goal as well as a personal goal.
My challenge to you is to ask your student what their goals are
and how they are coming along towards meeting their goals. Maybe you can
work together to set goals as a family! Be sure to write them down and track
your progress because then.you get to celebrate when you meet the goal!

K-12 Principal
