CONGRATULATIONS

On August 22, art instructor Kelli Baker received notice that she was awarded a $500 Missouri  Retired Teachers Foundation grant!  MRTA is a state wide group that supports K-12 school districts and advocates for retired teachers in  Missouri.  This grant is supported locally by the Kirksville Area Retired School Personnel.  The Kirksville chapter works throughout their region to help schools, current teachers, and retired school personnel.  Grant money is raised through silent auctions and other fundraising programs.  Kelli will be using the grant to purchase a Cricut® Maker™ for her classroom.
