NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK

The elementary school will be celebrating National School Lunch week October 15-19. Plan on eating with your favorite Brashear Elementary student(s) during this week. An adult lunch costs $4.00.

Please let us know the day before you are eating by sending a note with your child or giving us a call. The schedule is as follows:

Monday             Kindergarten             10:59-11:21

                        4th Grade                 12:17-12:42

Tuesday            1st Grade                  10:57-11:19

                        5th Grade                 12:19-12:44

Wednesday        2nd Grade                 11:00-11:22

Thursday           3rd Grade                 10:55-11:17

TIGER PRIDE

Congratulations to Kameren McGinnis for making the Northeast Missouri All-District Choir. Auditions were held on Saturday, September 15th.

Cheryl Reeves, classroom teacher and At-Risk Coordinator, received a mini grant for Ag Education from Farm Bureau. She has purchased a topper that will convert a 10 gallon aquarium into an aquaponic system. Aquaponics is the raising of fish and plants in a recirculating system.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

School will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th for parent teacher conferences. Conferences are scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you have not already done so, please contact the school to schedule an appointment for your child(ren). You will be able to pick up first quarter grade cards at the time of your conference.

Please note that we will not have school on Friday, October 26, 2018.

THANK YOU

Monte and Lisa Fisher & family for their donation to the scholarship fund in memory of Anna Lea Sykes.

Books and scholarship donations make a lasting tribute to the memory of our loved ones.

If there is someone that you would like to memorialize in this way, please contact the school at 323-5272.
